Jethro Healthcare School was established last March 2004. The first programs we offerred and approved by the Illinois State Board of Education were Basic Nursing Assistant, Pharmacy Technician and Medical Spanish Translation.

As demand for healthcare workers increased, we developed further technical/vocational courses that hospitals, nursing homes, clinics , assisted living facilities as well as dialysis centers would require in the near future.

In 2007, we launched our Dialysis Technician Program wherein our School affiliated with one of the biggest Dialysis Company in US. Most of our graduates have been successful in their new found career and student census continously increase.

Our LPN Prerequisite Courses - English for Nurses, Math for Nurses, Introduction to Psychology, Human Anatomy, Introduction to Computers, Introduction to Healthcare and Medical Terminology are restructured and improved to fully train our students for the LPN Main Program and NCLEX PN Board Exam. By mid 2009 we will be launching our LPN Program which would be another milestone for Jethro Healthcare School. We are now sending surveys to our graduates and prospective students.

For the last four years, we achieved to earn 90% board exam rating score for our graduates and we hope to surpass this in the future through the diligent effort of our theoretical and clinical instructors. On October 2008, our Dialysis Technician Graduates passed the BONENT Certification Exam for Dialysis Tech. Last Dec 6, 2008 - National Health Career Association conducted the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam at our school campus and 90% passed. The 2nd NHA Pharmacy Technician has been conducted last March 30, 2009 , the next examination will be on June 29, 2009. Year 2009, will be a busy year for Jethro School since we will be offering new courses: Phlebotomy/ EKG Technician, Medication Technician, Patient Care Technician , CPR, English as a Second Language and Physical /Occupational Therapy Aide.
